Forward Deployed Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a remote contract Forward Deployed Engineer who will transform ambiguous problems into production-ready software using AI, TypeScript, and Python, managing the entire process from ideation to deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business leaders to reframe ideas into actionable software solutions and deliver working prototypes quickly
• Build modular backends and fullstack applications using modern frameworks and integrate various AI tools and systems
• Deploy applications on cloud platforms and ensure production readiness through rigorous testing and operational practices

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in building production applications with AI and agentic development approaches
• Strong proficiency in Python or TypeScript, with experience in OOP, SOLID principles, and microservice architecture
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools and end-to-end implementation of vector databases and retrieval pipelines
• Cloud-native deployment experience using AWS, Azure, Cloudflare, or Vercel, with knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical discipline
