Forward Deployed Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a contract Forward Deployed Engineer who will transform ambiguous problems into production-ready software using AI, TypeScript, and Python in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with business and clinical leaders to translate vague ideas into concrete software solutions, delivering working prototypes quickly
• Develop modular backends and fullstack applications, utilizing modern frameworks and ensuring adherence to clean architecture principles
• Oversee the deployment and productionization of applications, implementing best practices in testing, security, and observability

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in building production applications using AI and agentic development approaches
• Proficiency in Python or TypeScript, with experience in OOP, SOLID principles, and microservice architecture
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools and deploying applications on cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
• Strong understanding of vector databases, retrieval pipelines, and eval harnesses
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical field
