Forward Deployed Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a remote contract Forward Deployed Engineer, this role focuses on building production-ready software with AI at its core, transforming ambiguous problems into concrete solutions using TypeScript and Python, and managing the entire development process from ideation to deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and clinical leaders to translate vague ideas into actionable software projects
• Develop modular backends and fullstack applications using modern frameworks and AI techniques
• Deploy applications on cloud platforms, ensuring robust infrastructure and adherence to best engineering practices

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in building production applications with AI and agentic development approaches
• Proficiency in Python or TypeScript, with experience in OOP, SOLID principles, and microservice architecture
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools and agent orchestration frameworks
• End-to-end implementation experience with vector databases and cloud-native deployment
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field
