Forward Deployed Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a remote contract Forward Deployed Engineer who will transform ambiguous problems into production-ready software using AI, TypeScript, and Python, managing the entire process from ideation to deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with clients to reframe vague ideas into concrete, buildable software solutions and deliver working prototypes rapidly
• Develop modular backends and fullstack applications while integrating AI tools and frameworks to create production-grade systems
• Oversee deployment processes, ensuring robust infrastructure and operational practices are in place for sustainable software performance

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in building production applications using AI and fullstack development approaches
• Proficiency in Python or TypeScript, with experience in OOP, SOLID principles, and microservice architecture
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools and agentic development approaches
• Cloud-native deployment experience with platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Cloudflare, including containerization technologies
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical discipline
