Forward Deployed Engineer

Job Summary

As a full-time Forward Deployed Engineer working remotely, the candidate will own technical delivery for Tier 1 customers, building custom integrations and optimizing Lago's platform in production environments.

Key responsibilities

• Own technical delivery from architecture design to deployment for Tier 1 customers
• Build custom integrations and workflows using Lago's Ruby on Rails APIs, React, and TypeScript stack
• Collaborate with Support Engineers and Core Engineering to ensure reliability and optimize product extensions

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of experience working closely with APIs and SDKs
• Deep understanding of REST APIs, authentication, and integration patterns
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills, with experience in PostgreSQL, Redis, or Kafka
• Experience designing and deploying production-ready integrations
• Proven ability to manage delivery timelines and coordinate across teams
