Forward Deployed Engineer

Job Summary

As a full-time Forward Deployed Engineer on the AI Enablement team, the successful candidate will build production-level AI systems that automate internal workflows, enhance operational efficiency, and improve the work experience for Stord employees in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop AI-powered tools for internal teams, focusing on automation in Customer Experience, Finance, and Operations
• Create end-to-end automation pipelines and reusable modules to streamline workflows across the organization
• Collaborate with teams to identify automation opportunities, validate solutions, and iterate rapidly to production

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of production backend experience with TypeScript/Node.js
• Proven experience in developing agentic AI systems that automate real workflows in production
• Strong skills in API design and integration, with experience building RESTful APIs
• Advanced SQL proficiency with PostgreSQL for data modeling and querying
• Experience with LLM integration, including tools like OpenAI or Anthropic
