Forward Deployed Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer on a contract basis, this remote role will turn ambiguous problems into production-ready software using AI, TypeScript, and Python, managing the entire process from ideation to deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and clinical leaders to transform vague ideas into actionable software prototypes
• Develop fullstack applications and modular backends while integrating AI tools and frameworks
• Oversee the deployment and productionization of applications, ensuring robust engineering practices are followed

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in building production applications with AI and agentic development approaches
• Proficiency in Python or TypeScript, with experience in OOP, SOLID principles, and microservice architecture
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools and end-to-end implementation of vector databases
• Cloud-native deployment experience with platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Vercel, using Docker and Kubernetes
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical field
