Forward Deployed Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer on a contract basis who will transform ambiguous problems into production-ready software using AI, TypeScript, and Python while working remotely and managing end-to-end development from ideation to deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and clinical leaders to reframe ideas into actionable software solutions
• Rapidly build modular backends and fullstack applications while integrating AI tools and frameworks
• Deploy and maintain production-grade applications, ensuring robust engineering practices and infrastructure management

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in building production applications using AI and agentic development approaches
• Proficiency in Python or TypeScript with a strong understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and microservice architecture
• Experience with cloud-native deployments using AWS, Azure, or similar platforms, including containerization technologies
• Demonstrated use of AI-assisted development tools and a portfolio showcasing relevant projects
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical field
