Forward Deployed Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the technical implementation of complex integration workflows, the full-time Forward Deployed Engineer will build custom n8n flows, direct API integrations, and middleware configurations while working in a hybrid environment in New York City.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with sales to scope complex integration projects by analyzing client business objectives and technology ecosystems
• Build and manage custom integrations, ensuring technical onboarding is handled end-to-end for non-standard accounts
• Define best practices for enterprise SaaS implementations and act as a primary technical consultant for clients

Required qualifications

• Several years of experience in a client-facing role, including 1-4 years of software engineering experience
• Proven ability to navigate a broad ecosystem of technology
• Experience with comprehensive developer documentation for building custom middleware
• Desire to engage in a dynamic, client-facing role to solve complex business problems
• Strong communication skills with both business and technical audiences
