Forward Deployed Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer on a contract basis, this remote role will turn ambiguous problems into production-ready software, utilizing modern AI tooling, TypeScript, and Python while managing the entire development process from ideation to deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Reframe vague ideas into concrete, buildable software solutions through close collaboration with business and clinical leaders
• Develop modular backends and fullstack applications using Python or TypeScript, adhering to clean architecture principles
• Deploy and productionize applications on cloud platforms, ensuring robust engineering practices are followed throughout the process

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience building production applications with AI and agentic development approaches
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools and frameworks such as LangGraph and Claude Agent SDK
• Proficiency in Python or TypeScript, including experience with microservice architecture and modern web frameworks
• Experience with cloud-native deployment using platforms like AWS, Azure, or Vercel, including containerization technologies
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical discipline
