Forward Deployed Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a remote contract Forward Deployed Engineer who will transform ambiguous problems into production-ready software using AI, TypeScript, and Python, managing everything from ideation to deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and clinical leaders to reframe ideas into buildable software and produce working prototypes quickly
• Develop modular backends and fullstack applications, integrating advanced AI techniques and frameworks
• Oversee the deployment and productionization of applications, ensuring adherence to best engineering practices

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in building production applications with AI and agentic development approaches
• Proficiency in Python or TypeScript, with experience in OOP, SOLID principles, and microservice architecture
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools and integrating LLMs into applications
• Cloud deployment experience with AWS, Azure, or similar platforms, including containerization technologies
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical field
