Forward Deployed Engineer

Job Summary

Building production-ready software with AI at the core, the contract Forward Deployed Engineer will work remotely to turn ambiguous problems into concrete solutions using modern AI tooling, TypeScript, and Python, while owning the entire development process from ideation to deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and clinical leaders to reframe vague ideas into actionable software solutions
• Develop modular backends and fullstack applications while integrating AI models and tools for production-grade systems
• Deploy applications and manage infrastructure, ensuring best practices in testing, security, and performance are upheld

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience in building production applications using AI and agentic development approaches
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools and frameworks such as LangGraph and OpenAI Assistants
• Strong proficiency in Python or TypeScript, with experience in OOP, SOLID principles, and microservice architecture
• End-to-end implementation experience with vector databases and cloud-native deployment across AWS, Azure, or similar
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical discipline
