Forward Deployed Engineer

Job Summary

Embedding directly with customer engineering teams, the full-time Forward Deployed Engineer will identify bottlenecks, design practical solutions, and manage the end-to-end delivery of Cursor workflows in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead discovery with customer engineers to identify bottlenecks and define success metrics
• Design and build Cursor-powered workflows, ensuring production quality and reliability
• Communicate effectively with engineering leaders while turning built solutions into reusable patterns

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software development with proficiency in Python and Javascript/Typescript
• 2+ years in a customer-facing role, leading discovery conversations and ensuring customer outcomes
• Experience building and owning AI-native workflows in production
• Proven ability to manage production reliability, including metrics and incident response
• Demonstrated capability to work through ambiguity and deliver clear, actionable solutions
