Forward Deployed Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely as an independent contractor, the Forward Deployed Engineer will engage with client teams to transform complex business processes into production-grade AI workflows, balancing discovery and hands-on engineering to deliver effective solutions.

Key responsibilities:

• Embed with client teams to shadow operations and map existing processes
• Decompose complex business goals into actionable workflows and design decision logic
• Build and integrate production-grade workflows and systems, ensuring reliability and performance

Required qualifications:

• 3+ years of software engineering experience with production systems
• Hands-on experience with LLMs and multi-step workflows beyond the prototype stage
• Strong integration skills with REST APIs, webhooks, and databases
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with SQL and data systems
• Client-facing experience with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
