Forward Deployed Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Forward Deployed Engineer will engage directly with customers to analyze operational workflows, develop production-quality solutions, and ensure effective implementation and verification of product slices.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct customer discovery and workflow shadowing to identify user needs and operational constraints
• Implement and test product slices in a live codebase, ensuring functionality across frontend, backend, and data integrations
• Document findings and communicate tradeoffs and next steps to non-technical stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Experience shipping production software with a clear understanding of user impact and verification processes
• Proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Python frameworks such as Django or FastAPI
• Familiarity with database management using Postgres and understanding of cloud services like AWS or GCP
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience in regulated industries is a plus
