Forward Deployed Engineer

Job Summary

As the technical owner for AI deployments, the full-time remote Forward Deployed Engineer will collaborate with Deployment Strategists and customers to build and maintain production systems that enhance healthcare operations using advanced AI techniques.

Key responsibilities

• Identify customer challenges and design AI solutions using advanced LLM techniques, implementing novel approaches to healthcare AI problems
• Design and implement retrieval-augmented generation pipelines that ensure accuracy and clinical relevance in LLM responses
• Build production Python code using LangChain and LangSmith, while managing deployment and monitoring of production environments

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of software engineering experience with strong Python fundamentals and production software development experience
• Hands-on experience with LLM frameworks like LangChain and LangSmith, along with a deep understanding of LLM techniques such as RAG and tool calling
• Experience building integrations with APIs, databases, or enterprise systems, with comfort in async patterns and error handling
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field from a top-ranked university
