Forward Deployed Engineer
Job Summary
To support a leading US healthcare workforce company, the full-time Forward Deployed Engineer will take a Palantir Foundry proof of concept to production, embedding with the client to manage data pipelines, application layers, and governance while training internal engineers remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Transform a Palantir Foundry proof of concept into a production-grade product by managing data pipelines and application layers
- Collaborate with business and product teams to define adoption metrics and report on outcomes
- Train client engineers during the build process to ensure capability transfer and long-term success
Required qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in software, data, or ML engineering with senior-level ownership of production systems
- Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry or a comparable data and AI platform
- Proficiency in production Python and SQL; familiarity with TypeScript or Java is a plus
- Experience in building with LLMs and agents, demonstrating capability beyond demo stages
- Consulting or client-embedded delivery experience, with strong presentation skills to executives
