Forward Deployed Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a contract Forward Deployed Engineer to work remotely, who will engage closely with clients and product leaders to transform ambiguous ideas into concrete software solutions, while building and deploying production applications using advanced AI techniques and modern programming languages.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and clinical leaders to reframe problems into buildable software solutions and create working prototypes quickly
• Develop full-stack applications and modular backends in Python or TypeScript, ensuring alignment with clean architecture and best practices
• Oversee the deployment and productionization of applications, applying rigorous engineering practices and mentoring others in AI engineering best practices

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience building production applications using AI and agentic development approaches
• Proficient in Python or TypeScript, with experience in OOP, SOLID principles, and microservice architecture
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools and building applications using frameworks like Next.js and Fast API
• Experience with cloud-native deployment on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Vercel, utilizing Docker and Kubernetes
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical discipline
