Forward Deployed Engineer
Job Summary
Owning customer engagements end to end, the full-time Forward Deployed Engineer will manage technical success for video customers, build measurement tools for dataset characterization, and translate customer needs into actionable plans while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Engage with customers from feasibility through post-delivery support, ensuring technical requirements are met
- Develop tools to measure and describe raw video footage, enhancing dataset offerings
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to identify growth opportunities and create scalable solutions
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of engineering experience with exposure to customer-facing roles
- Experience working with media data, particularly video
- Proven ability to build and operate systems for processing and analyzing data at scale
- Strong skills in translating ambiguous requirements and building trust with technical stakeholders
- High tolerance for ambiguity and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
