Forward Deployed Engineer
Job Summary
Fluent in both Spanish and English, the full-time Forward Deployed Engineer will work remotely to partner with customer engineering teams, designing and implementing real-time communication and voice AI applications on the LiveKit platform while solving complex technical challenges.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with customer engineering teams to design and implement scalable architectures for real-time applications
- Build prototype integrations and reference implementations to accelerate customer development
- Debug and troubleshoot complex technical issues in production environments
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in backend or infrastructure engineering
- Proficient in programming languages such as Go, Python, Node, Rust, or C++
- Experience with APIs, SDKs, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with customer engineering teams
- Fluent in both Spanish and English, with the ability to work directly with customer teams in either language
