Forward Deployed Engineer

Job Summary

To build and lead a core function at Ent, the full-time remote Forward Deployed Engineer will work directly with strategic customers to implement real-world deployments, validate product value, and shape product evolution while operating at the intersection of customer delivery, product, and security research.

Key responsibilities

• Define deployment, validation, and scaling processes for Ent within customer environments
• Embed with design partners and lead initial deployments across various security modules
• Act as internal customer zero, providing actionable feedback to influence product enhancements and roadmap prioritization

Required qualifications

• Experience in forward deployed engineering, solutions engineering, or similar roles in cybersecurity or infrastructure
• Strong technical foundation in endpoint, systems, or security
• Proven ability to operate directly with customers in high-impact environments
• Builder mindset with experience creating structure in ambiguous situations
• Ability to transition between technical depth, customer engagement, and strategic thinking
