Forward Deployed Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Forward Deployed Engineer for a full-time remote position, who will manage the deployment and integration of software in complex operational technology environments, ensuring customer satisfaction and product effectiveness through technical ownership and collaboration with internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, integrate, and operate software in live process control environments until production use
• Write and configure integrations, data flows, and state machine logic tailored to site-specific systems
• Commission, test, and validate solutions, diagnosing and resolving issues at the software and control-system boundary

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Technology Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Controls Engineering (or equivalent experience)
• Extensive experience deploying and supporting complex software in mission-critical environments
• Scripting or programming experience (Python, PowerShell, or similar)
• Working knowledge of Windows Server and network administration
• Familiarity with SQL, relational databases, and time series databases
