Forward-Deployed Engineer
Job Summary
Blending client-facing responsibilities with hands-on technical work, the full-time remote Forward-Deployed Engineer will manage technical discussions during onboarding, translate client requirements into product terms, and own accounts post-go-live while also building client-specific configurations and integrations.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct technical discussions during client onboarding, including architecture reviews and security assessments
- Translate client workflow requirements into product capabilities and vice versa, ensuring successful adoption and expansion
- Develop client-specific configurations and integrations, prototyping solutions and creating documentation for maintainability
Required qualifications
- 3+ years in a technical role with client exposure, such as solutions engineering or technical account management
- Ability to read and write production code, demonstrating technical proficiency
- Experience conducting technical discussions with clients, particularly in regulated domains like financial services
- Strong writing skills for creating requirement documents, runbooks, and follow-up communications
- Sound judgment in determining what to build, configure, and push back on based on client needs
