Forward Deployed Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on, highly engaged Forward Deployed Engineer (Staff) to work full-time in a remote capacity, specializing in Kubernetes, platform modernization, and enterprise AI infrastructure, while collaborating directly with client teams throughout the entire engagement lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as an embedded engineering liaison, collaborating with core software architects and enterprise client developers to eliminate deployment friction
- Identify and address migration blockers and usability gaps, rapidly building and testing field fixes to enhance feature iteration cycles
- Maintain active engagement with customer technical teams from pre-migration discovery through operational stabilization, ensuring successful platform adoption
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of related experience, with a preference for a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated experience operating GPU-accelerated Kubernetes nodes and distributed AI orchestration
- Proven track record of engaging with customer technical leadership across complex engineering projects
- Technical depth in deploying and scaling containerized data services and AI engines
- Advanced skills in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and GitOps methodologies
