Forward Deployed Engineer
Job Summary
As a remote Forward Deployed Engineer, the candidate will write code, build integrations against partner and hyperscaler APIs, and serve as the technical owner on engagements, managing the entire deal cycle from technical discovery to production delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the technical owner on engagements, scoping problems and ensuring solutions run in production
- Build integrations and prototypes against partner and hyperscaler APIs, delivering validated work to Product and Engineering
- Model and defend commitment strategies against cloud usage, presenting findings to Director- and VP-level stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years in hands-on technical roles with significant customer or partner-facing experience
- Deep hands-on Azure experience, including commitment and billing mechanics
- Working fluency with modern developer tooling APIs, Git, scripting, IaC, and CI/CD
- Demonstrated ability to debug integration failures and drive fixes to closure
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification (AZ-305) or equivalent architecture depth
