Forward Deployed Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Forward Deployed Engineer, this remote position will partner with enterprise customers to design and implement Kong-based solutions, focusing on API and AI connectivity, while driving migration initiatives and developing automation frameworks.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with enterprise customers to design, build, and implement solutions across various environments
- Lead hands-on implementation of API gateways, AI gateways, and related connectivity technologies
- Develop production-grade code and automation tools to facilitate customer adoption and modernization efforts
Required qualifications
- 8+ years in customer-facing engineering, platform engineering, or software engineering roles
- Strong hands-on experience with API gateways and distributed systems
- Expertise in Kubernetes and cloud-native infrastructure
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java
- Experience with major cloud providers including AWS, Azure, or GCP
