Foster Care Health Liaison

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Foster Care Health Liaison.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain collaborative relationships with State child agencies and advocacy groups to support members
• Act as the liaison between State agency staff, social workers, and health plan staff regarding medical and behavioral health services for foster children
• Identify training needs and make public presentations as necessary

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience in a social service agency and/or advocacy environment
• Working knowledge of the Foster Care system, Medicaid, and/or Health Plan administration preferred
