Foster Care Health Liaison

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Foster Care Health Liaison to maintain collaborative relationships with state child agencies and advocacy groups.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert for foster care medical and behavioral health care services
• Act as the liaison between state agency staff and health plan staff regarding service needs for foster children
• Collaborate with state agency staff to troubleshoot complex cases and recommend solutions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience in a social service agency or advocacy environment
• Working knowledge of the Foster Care system and Medicaid preferred
