Foundation SRE Software Engineer II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineer II, Foundation SRE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement scalable and maintainable systems using technologies like Chef, Terraform, GKE, GoLang, Python, Prometheus, and Consul
• Support the day-to-day operations of running a large scale application, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and automating upgrade procedures
• Manage multiple aspects of the company's core infrastructure, ensuring reliability, scalability, and availability

Required Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in systems/infrastructure engineering or SRE or DevOps roles, preferably in a cloud environment
• Proficiency in monitoring system performance, analyzing system logs, and performing tuning on Linux platforms
• Experience administering Linux servers in a production environment, ensuring high availability and optimal performance
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as PHP, Python, Go, Ruby, or equivalent
• Experience with Infrastructure As Code tooling like Terraform and configuration management tooling like Chef/Ansible
