Job Summary
Focused on raising grant support, the full-time Foundations Officer II will manage a portfolio of high-profile foundation donors, actively identify new funding opportunities, and collaborate with internal teams to implement strategies that advance revenue goals, with the flexibility to work hybrid or remote from select locations.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of current and prospective foundation supporters, targeting annual cash goals of $2 - $4 million
- Develop and implement custom stewardship plans for donors, including grant proposals and engagement opportunities
- Assist in budget creation and financial reporting in coordination with program and finance staff
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- 6+ years of experience in foundation fundraising with 3+ years managing complex funder relationships
- Experience managing grants of $300k and above
- Ability to synthesize complex material into engaging and persuasive prose
