Founding AI Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Founding AI Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain the data infrastructure for client deliverables, including ingestion pipelines and data models
• Build and ship production-grade AI applications, integrating LLMs and ensuring reliability
• Own end-to-end deployment processes, including containerized services and CI/CD pipelines

Required Qualifications

• 5-8 years of software engineering experience with a focus on data systems or AI applications in production
• Hands-on experience with data engineering practices and cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP)
• Experience deploying and operating production systems, including Kubernetes and Docker
• Experience with LLMs in production, including prompt engineering and evaluation pipelines
• Genuine curiosity about AI and the technical discipline to build responsibly
