Founding Motion Designer

Job Summary

To help define the motion language of the brand, the full-time Founding Motion Designer will create high-craft animations for product marketing, launch films, and various brand moments in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Define and establish LiveKit's motion language, including principles and behaviors
• Lead motion design for major launches and campaigns, creating announcement videos and social media assets
• Develop reusable motion systems and workflows to enhance the efficiency of high-quality motion production

Required qualifications

• Strong motion portfolio showcasing brand and marketing work
• Proficiency in After Effects and a modern motion design toolkit
• Ability to conceptualize and execute projects from brief to final export
• Deep understanding of design principles such as timing, easing, and composition
• Experience with web motion techniques, including Lottie and CSS/SVG
