Founding Partner, Capital Formation

Job Summary

Seeking an entrepreneurial-minded individual, the full-time Founding Partner, Capital Formation will own the end-to-end institutional fundraise strategy and relationship management for a new private credit fund, working remotely with a focus on raising capital and building strategic partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage the institutional fundraise strategy, pipeline, materials, and closing responsibilities for the $250M first close and beyond
• Co-lead negotiations with active seed investors, including managing term-sheet strategies and parallel seeder conversations
• Build and maintain relationships across the institutional LP landscape, including seeders, consultants, and large family offices

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience raising institutional capital for private credit or real estate credit strategies
• A personal track record of institutional capital raised, with identifiable LPs and funds
• Current relationships with allocators relevant to a $250M-$1B private credit vehicle
• Fluency in fund structures, terms, and investment vehicles
• Appropriate securities licensing history or a clean path to operate within the issuer exemption
