Founding Software Engineer

Job Summary

To help scale and evolve core systems, the full-time Founding Software Engineer will design and maintain backend services using TypeScript, develop robust APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services using TypeScript, preferably NestJS
• Develop and document REST and GraphQL APIs for frontend and AI components
• Collaborate across teams to integrate AI pipelines and manage backend performance and reliability

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of experience building production-grade backend systems
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, with strong knowledge of Node.js and NestJS
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful and GraphQL APIs
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Redis, and caching strategies
• Comfortable with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and version control using Git
