Job Summary

Seeking a Founding Staff Software Engineer with expertise in Python and FastAPI, this full-time remote role will design, build, and maintain robust backend systems, develop scalable REST APIs, and lead technical efforts to support the growth of an innovative AI recruiting platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend systems for the AI platform
• Develop and scale REST APIs using Python and FastAPI
• Architect and optimize systems for large-scale datasets and high-throughput workflows

Required qualifications

• Strong backend engineering experience with Python and FastAPI
• Proven production experience with PostgreSQL and Redis
• Experience deploying and managing backend systems on AWS
• Prior experience as a Staff Engineer, Lead Engineer, or Architect
• Hands-on experience with building robust REST APIs and large-scale data handling
