FP&A Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting the Head of FP&A, the remote contract FP&A Analyst will manage financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting activities while ensuring accurate data collection and analysis to provide insights for management decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, organize, validate, and maintain historical financial and operational data for FP&A reporting and models
• Prepare and maintain monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and cash-flow projections, along with variance analyses
• Investigate material variances and prepare clear explanations for management and executive reporting

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field
• Two to five years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, financial modeling, budgeting, or a related finance position
• Strong understanding of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash-flow statements
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial formulas, pivot tables, and scenario analysis
• Ability to explain financial results and variances clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
