FP&A Manager, Credit Finance

Job Summary

Focused on Marqeta's credit business, the full-time remote FP&A Manager, Credit Finance will manage financial modeling for credit deals, evaluate profitability, and partner with various teams to support sales and secure new bank partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the financial partner to Sales on credit deals, modeling the full economic stack
• Build deal-level models that capture life-of-portfolio economics and reflect realistic loss assumptions
• Lead deal review meetings, translating complex credit economics into actionable recommendations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Finance, Accounting, or Economics
• 6-8 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, deal desk, or credit product finance
• Strong understanding of credit economics, including interchange, finance charges, and loss provisioning
• Exceptional collaboration skills, with a track record of building trust and working effectively with Sales
• Proficiency in advanced Excel and familiarity with Google Workspace
