FPGA Team Lead

Job Summary

To support the modernization of surveillance avionics, the remote FPGA Team Lead will manage FPGA development, simulation, and integration activities while providing technical leadership and direction for a small engineering team, ensuring high-quality delivery in compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support FPGA design, simulation, and integration for instrumentation and control electronic systems
• Provide technical leadership and coordinate daily activities for a team of FPGA and hardware engineers
• Serve as the primary technical contact for program management and stakeholders, communicating progress and risks effectively

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in FPGA design, verification, or related engineering work
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience leading a technical team and mentoring engineers
• Hands-on experience with FPGA design and verification using VHDL, UVM, or similar methodologies
• U.S. citizenship or U.S. permanent residency is required
