FPGA Team Lead

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time FPGA Team Lead based in Phoenix, AZ, or remotely, who will manage FPGA development and firmware tasks compliant with DO-254 and DO-178C while providing technical leadership and coordinating a small engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support FPGA development, simulation, and integration activities for electronic systems
• Provide technical leadership and day-to-day coordination for a team of FPGA and hardware engineers
• Serve as a technical point of contact for program management, customers, and internal stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
• 10+ years of experience in FPGA design, verification, or digital hardware development
• Minimum of 2+ years leading a technical team and mentoring engineers
• Hands-on experience with FPGA design and verification using VHDL, UVM, or similar methodologies
• Ability to troubleshoot FPGA and hardware issues through simulation and debugging
