FRA Certified Crew Leader

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Crew Leader to manage construction projects and crew members on customer sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and implement track and rail yard work and other assigned projects
• Determine materials and staffing needs for projects while ensuring safety and efficiency
• Oversee crew activities and lead onboarding and training for new employees

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 5-7 years of experience in railroad track construction
• 2+ years in a supervisory or management role preferred
• Comprehensive knowledge of track structure and maintenance
• Certification required for operating on track controlled by the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA)
• Ability to operate and train others on equipment such as backhoes and front-end loaders
