Job Summary

Supporting a healthcare startup remotely, the experienced fractional Chief Financial Officer will manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning while guiding core finance activities to enhance operational decision-making in a long-term contract role.

Key responsibilities

• Lead companywide budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning to improve financial visibility
• Prepare and present accurate financial reports to support leadership decisions and business insights
• Oversee month-end close activities to ensure timely and reliable financial results

Required qualifications

• Proven experience as a CFO or in senior financial leadership roles, preferably in startups or high-growth organizations
• Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis
• Expertise in financial reporting and month-end close oversight
• Knowledge of capital management and financial needs of emerging companies
• Experience with multi-state tax requirements and international tax compliance
