Job Summary

Fractional CFO (Client Facing), a part-time consultant role providing strategic financial oversight and guidance to multiple client organizations, primarily nonprofits, while mentoring internal team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary financial partner for a portfolio of clients, building strong, trust-based relationships
• Oversee and guide the annual budgeting process and monitor budget-to-actual performance
• Mentor Finance Managers and Controllers while leading and executing special projects based on client needs

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
• 8-10+ years of progressive experience in financial management, with demonstrated experience in nonprofit finance
• Strong experience with QuickBooks Online and related financial systems
• Experience managing multiple clients or entities simultaneously
• Knowledge of grant accounting, fund accounting, and government funding requirements
