Fractional Chief Compliance Officer

Job Summary

Seeking experienced compliance leaders, the remote contract Fractional Chief Compliance Officer will provide strategic, project-based leadership in compliance, governance, and regulatory initiatives for clients in the alternative investment sector, including hedge funds and private equity firms.

Key responsibilities

• Design and enhance compliance programs tailored for alternative investment firms
• Advise on SEC regulations, regulatory reporting, and governance best practices
• Conduct compliance reviews, risk assessments, and support regulatory examinations

Required qualifications

• Prior experience as a Chief Compliance Officer or in a senior compliance leadership role
• Deep understanding of regulatory requirements within alternative investments
• Proven track record of building and managing effective compliance programs
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to operate strategically and hands-on in dynamic environments
