Fractional Chief Investment Officer

Job Summary

Seeking experienced investment executives, the remote Fractional Chief Investment Officer will provide strategic, project-based leadership in investment strategy, portfolio construction, risk management, and asset allocation for clients in the alternative investment industry.

Key responsibilities

• Setting and overseeing investment strategy, portfolio construction, and asset allocation across client mandates
• Leading manager selection, investment due diligence, and ongoing monitoring of underlying positions
• Establishing risk management frameworks, exposure limits, and performance measurement standards

Required qualifications

• Prior experience leading investment strategy, portfolio management, or capital allocation within hedge funds, private equity firms, or family offices
• Deep understanding of multi-asset portfolio construction, risk management, and manager selection
• Proven track record of delivering risk-adjusted returns and executing investment decisions with measurable impact
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, including investment committee and LP engagement
• Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on in dynamic markets
