Fractional Communications Director

Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare management services organization, the part-time Fractional Communications Director will build and manage an earned media program, focusing on securing media placements, enhancing executive visibility, and developing proactive pitches while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Secure earned media placements in healthcare B2B trade outlets through strategic pitching and media relationships
• Enhance executive visibility by ghostwriting bylines and commentary for the CEO on relevant industry topics
• Develop and execute proactive pitching strategies, including monitoring journalist requests for expert commentary

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in communications/PR, specifically in healthcare B2B sectors
• Demonstrated placements in healthcare trade outlets within the last 18 months
• Established working relationships with reporters and editors in healthcare business and RCM
• Experience in ghostwriting for C-suite executives, capturing their voice for publish-ready content
• Proven track record of generating results in fractional or small-company settings
