Fractional Controller Consultant

Job Summary

To support a highly prestigious client base in the alternative investment industry, the remote Fractional Controller Consultant will provide expert financial advice, manage day-to-day accounting functions, and collaborate with CFOs while engaging on a contract basis.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage financial records and prepare financial statements in collaboration with external accountants and the CFO
• Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
• Advise on best practices, vendor selection, and the implementation of policies and procedures

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or advanced degree preferred
• 6+ years of experience as a Controller in an Alternative Asset Firm or Family Office
• Strong technical accounting skills and experience with GAAP accounting
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications and accounting software
• In-depth understanding of financial instruments and investment types
