Fractional Head Trader

Job Summary

To support a network of alternative investment clients, the remote Fractional Head Trader will provide expert consulting on trading desk operations, risk management, and compliance, leveraging extensive experience in the alternative asset industry on a contract basis.

Key responsibilities

• Advising clients on best practices, vendor selection, and the development of trading policies and procedures
• Managing the full life cycle of trades, including execution, risk management, and performance evaluation
• Communicating market insights and progress towards client goals through key performance indicators

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's Degree and/or CFA preferred
• 10+ years of experience as a Head Trader or Director of Trading in an Alternative Asset Firm or Family Office
• In-depth knowledge of global markets, regulatory environments, and risk management practices
• Strong programming skills, preferably in Python, and experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
• Demonstrated knowledge of trading systems and the ability to work with large data sets
