Job Summary
To support a growing team, the part-time Fractional HR Generalist will manage payroll processing, benefits administration, and compliance tasks while building systems and automations to enhance HR operations in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end payroll processing and maintain employee records in Rippling, ensuring tax compliance and accuracy
- Administer benefits programs and lead open enrollment planning, addressing employee inquiries and coordinating with vendors
- Audit the HR tech stack, propose improvements, and document HR processes to streamline operations and reduce manual work
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of HR generalist experience, with at least 1 year in a fractional or consulting capacity
- Hands-on experience with Rippling or similar HRIS, including building and fixing workflows
- Expertise in multi-state payroll processing and tax compliance management
- Fluency in benefits administration, including open enrollment and carrier coordination
- Proven track record of diagnosing and improving broken HR systems, with strong documentation skills
