Fractional HR Lead

Job Summary

Owning people operations for a distributed team, the part-time Fractional HR Lead will manage payroll in Rippling, drive the recruiting pipeline in Workable and Hireflix, and build onboarding and offboarding systems, all while working remotely on a contract basis.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the monthly payroll cycle in Rippling, ensuring accuracy and resolving any issues
• Manage the recruiting pipeline, including posting roles, screening candidates, and providing ranked shortlists to hiring managers
• Develop and implement onboarding and offboarding systems, maintaining documentation and ensuring smooth transitions for employees

Required qualifications

• Experience running payroll end to end in Rippling or a similar multi-country platform
• Proven ability to operate recruiting pipelines using tools like Workable, Greenhouse, or Lever
• Strong documentation skills, with the ability to create and maintain SOPs and handbooks
• Experience managing offboarding processes independently
• Familiarity with AI tools and automation to streamline HR processes
