Fraud Analytics Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Fraud Analytics Associate to join their Risk & Analytics team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish key fraud performance metrics and develop automated reporting to monitor these KPIs
• Develop and maintain fraud detection strategies and business rules that balance fraud loss and customer experience
• Collaborate with various partners within the company to identify emerging threats and implement changes to protect against fraud

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business discipline (e.g., math, statistics, finance, economics, engineering)
• 3+ years of relevant fraud analytics experience in the FinTech industry
• Knowledge of fraud schemes, financially motivated cybercrime trends, and fraud prevention methods
• Proficiency using SQL and working with relational databases
• Proficiency using Python to analyze complex data sets and derive actionable insights
